We are pleased to welcome Heather Morrow, Senior Paralegal, to the Harbor Family Law team. She has worked as a paralegal for the last twenty years, primarily focused on family law. Heather has experience in Pierce, King, and Kitsap Counties.
Throughout her work in the legal field, Heather has been praised for her compassion and care when it comes to handling clients who are going through a difficult and emotional time. As Heather notes, “When providing for clients, I try my best to put myself in their shoes; to listen and offer suggestions that can provide them with the prospective and the ability to handle their situation with a clearer vision. I have found that explaining the process of the legal system and how it relates to their family law situation is helpful when providing them legal assistance.”
Heather grew up in Wenatchee and moved to the Puget Sound area in 1996 to attend Puget Sound Community College for her Associates Degree in the Paralegal Program. Although she loves Wenatchee, she has found that living in Lacey is one of her favorite places.
Heather is also passionate about fitness and nutrition. Over the last five years she acquired a Personal Training Certificate, Health Coaching Certificate, and a bachelor’s degree in Nutrition. She is proud to be the first one in her family to attend college and has a passion for learning new things. Heather has also started a teacher training program for Yoga and has taught Yoga the last five years.
When not helping to advocate for our clients, you can find Heather with her Silky Terrier named Daisy who is her love and joy. They enjoy taking walks, cuddling, and playing ball. In additional to teaching Yoga, Heather enjoys Zumba, Step Aerobics, and weight training. “In the summer months I love the Pacific Northwest outdoors and really enjoy hiking!”
Managing Partner Chris Maharry notes, “Heather is a fabulous addition to our team here at Harbor Family Law, and we know that our clients will be in the hands of a kind, capable, and professional paralegal.”
