Senior Paralegal
January grew up in Tucson, AZ and came to live in WA at 19 years old after visiting our beautiful state. She got her early childhood education at the University of Arizona and finished up her degree at North Seattle Community College.
She has been in the legal field for over 20 years, 15 of those years as a Paralegal. She started her career at the King County Prosecutor’s Office Family Support Division working as a Legal Assistant and moved her way up the ranks to Paralegal. Not only does she have vast experience in family law, but she has also worked in bankruptcy, debt, probate, and estate planning.
January oves to work in a smaller firm with a great group of people, like HFL.
She enjoys reading case law – especially the rules, and also enjoys writing – always joking she should have known she would have been a paralegal because she loved to stamp. January is also great with computers and technology, which always comes in handy.
In January’s spare time, you can find her beach coming for sea glass. She loves crafting, art walks, and reading, especially historical fiction.
January has an identical twin sister, who is her best friend, and loves being a full-time auntie to her two nephews.
Luna is January’s English Bull Terrier. Luna knows when people need a little extra love and is excellent with children. January says Luna is perfect in every way. You may get the chance to meet her when you come into our office.
